# POS()

## Effect

Returns the horizontal coordinate of the cursor.

## Syntax 

`POS(<Value>)`

## Parameter

`<Value>` is a dummy value or variable but cannot be omitted.

## Example

```basic
10 CLS
20 LOCATE 14,1:PRINT "Example of POS";
30 PRINT POS(0)
 
RUN
Example of POS 14
```
