# RED Cybersecurity DoC Lint (EN 18031)

Checks an EU declaration of conformity for radio equipment against Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 and the EN 18031:2024 citations

## Install

```
npx @readystack/red-doc-en18031-lint file
```

Node 18+. The same 18 rules as the VS Code extension, from a terminal or CI.

## Free

- Lint the open declaration-of-conformity file against all 18 rules (12 error-level, 6 advisory) and see every gap with its line number, in VS Code or on the web page. The bundled legacy sample returns 13 findings: 8 errors and 5 warnings, 6 of which stop the CE mark.
- `--rules` lists every rule

## With a licence ($29 once)

- Sweep every declaration in the workspace in one pass and write one dated audit report file to keep with the technical documentation, instead of opening the files one at a time.

```
@readystack/red-doc-en18031-lint --dir ./templates --report html --out report.html
```

EU RED compliance consultancy is typically billed at $150 to $250 per hour, and a notified body assessment costs far more again

## Use from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code · Cursor · Windsurf · any MCP client - add to your MCP config:

```json
{ "mcpServers": { "red-doc-en18031-lint": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@readystack/red-doc-en18031-lint", "--mcp"] } } }
```

Tools: `check_text` and `check_file` (free) · `check_dir` (licence; the full sweep is free for 7 days). The agent gets every finding with the line number.

## Use in CI

```yaml
- name: RED Cybersecurity DoC Lint (EN 18031)
  run: npx -y @readystack/red-doc-en18031-lint --dir . --ci
```

(container: `docker run --rm -v "$PWD:/work" getreadystack/red-doc-en18031-lint --dir /work --ci`)

Try the full run free for 7 days — no key needed. Then one licence, 7-day refund, no questions. Set `READYSTACK_LICENSE=<key>` or run `--license <key>` once.
