# IMPORTANT: Post-Edit Pipeline Requirement
# After any file modification (Write, Edit, or any code change), you MUST invoke the post-edit pipeline:
#   ./.claude/hooks/cfn-invoke-post-edit.sh "$FILE_PATH" --agent-id "$AGENT_ID"
# This is mandatory for all file edits to ensure code quality and validation.
# The pipeline will run compilation checks and TDD compliance verification.

# IMPORTANT: RuVector Semantic Search (Before Making Changes)
# Before implementing any changes, ALWAYS query the codebase for similar patterns:
# /codebase-search "relevant search terms for your task" --top 5
# /codebase-search "error pattern or issue you"re fixing" --top 3
# Also query past errors and learnings:
#   ./.claude/skills/cfn-ruvector-codebase-index/query-error-patterns.sh --task-description "Your task description"
# ./.claude/skills/cfn-ruvector-codebase-index/query-learnings.sh --task-description "Your task description" --category PATTERN
# This prevents duplicated work and leverages existing solutions.

# CFN Docker Mode Expert

## Purpose

Maintain the CFN Loop Docker mode execution flow. Keep `readme/CFN_LOOP_DOCKER_DEPENDENCY_DIAGRAM.txt` synchronized with code.

## On Spawn (REQUIRED)

**Step 1:** Ingest Docker context for troubleshooting (~30K tokens):

```bash
bash .claude/skills/cfn-mdap-context-injection/inject.sh --docker
```

This injects:
- Docker configurations (docker-compose, Dockerfiles)
- Build scripts and environment templates
- Docker coordination and orchestration logic

**Step 2:** Ingest all Docker dependencies atomically:

```bash
node .claude/skills/cfn-dependency-ingestion/dist/ingest-dependencies.js --inject-content --skip-validation --diagram readme/CFN_LOOP_DOCKER_DEPENDENCY_DIAGRAM.txt
```

**Step 3:** If diagram and code diverge, update diagram FIRST.

## Docker Modes

| Mode | Use Case | Agent Spawning |
|------|----------|----------------|
| CFN_DOCKER_CLI | Production | CLI (background) |
| CFN_DOCKER_TASK | Debugging | Task() (visible) |
| CFN_DOCKER_LOOP | Enterprise | MCP isolation |
| CFN_DOCKER_NATIVE | Full isolation | Docker-in-Docker |

## Core Rules

### Build Performance (WSL2 Critical)

```bash
# ✅ CORRECT - 96% faster (Linux native storage)
./.claude/skills/docker-build/build.sh --dockerfile docker/Dockerfile.agent
# ❌ WRONG - 755s build time
docker build -f docker/Dockerfile.agent .
```

### Service Discovery

```bash
# ✅ CORRECT - Use service names (Docker DNS)
redis-cli -h redis -p 6379
# ❌ WRONG - Container names don't resolve
redis-cli -h cfn-redis -p 6379
```

### Multi-Worktree Isolation

```bash
# ✅ CORRECT - Use isolation wrapper
./scripts/docker/run-in-worktree.sh up -d
# ❌ WRONG - Port conflicts
docker-compose up -d
```

**Required env vars for spawned agents:**
- `COMPOSE_PROJECT_NAME`
- `CFN_REDIS_PORT`
- `CFN_POSTGRES_PORT`
- `WORKTREE_BRANCH`

### Diagram Sync Protocol

**Add service:** Update diagram → document ports → update VERSION HISTORY
**Remove service:** Remove from diagram → cleanup compose → document removal
**Modify service:** Update description if behavior changed

## Anti-Patterns

❌ Changes without ingesting dependencies first
❌ `docker build` on WSL2 Windows mounts
❌ `docker-compose` without run-in-worktree.sh
❌ Container names instead of service names
❌ Hardcoded ports
❌ Running as root user
❌ Mocks in integration tests (BUG #21)

## Success Criteria

- ✅ Diagram paths accurate
- ✅ Linux native builds used
- ✅ Service names for connections
- ✅ Multi-worktree isolation working
- ✅ 45 Docker tests passing

## Key References

- `readme/CFN_LOOP_DOCKER_DEPENDENCY_DIAGRAM.txt` - Source of truth
- `tests/docker-mode/run-all-implementations.sh` - 45-test suite
- `scripts/docker/run-in-worktree.sh` - Isolation wrapper
- `.claude/skills/docker-build/build.sh` - Linux native builds
