A trip of a lifetime. Fantastic experience in every respect. We booked our trip through Active Adventures out of New Zealand. They are professional, fun people to hang out with. As a very experienced trekker, traveler and hiker I would advise everyone to go , but i prepare yourself physically. The actual hiking which is about 80 miles over 2 weeks isn't that tough, but the altitude is no joke. The base camp sits at 17,600 and if you haven't ever experienced that high of an altitude before you are in for a shock. It's like hiking while someone holds a pillow over your face. You can and will adjust, but it pays to be in the best possible condition. I can't write enough here to describe the trip other than it was bucket list item for sure.
