`DefaultSandbox.environment()` preserves eve's standard behavior without exposing provider-specific live creation options.

```

On Vercel, it selects [Vercel Sandbox](/docs/sandbox/vercel). Elsewhere, it tries [Docker](/docs/sandbox/docker), [microsandbox](/docs/sandbox/microsandbox), and [just-bash](/docs/sandbox/just-bash), in that order, according to host support.

Use a provider directly when you need its image, VM, network, compute, or mount options.
