# generator-liferay-portlet-template [![NPM version][npm-image]][npm-url]

> Generated liferay portlet is a yeoman generator. This generator make a portlet with a specific configuration.

## Installation

First, install [Yeoman](http://yeoman.io) and generator-liferay-portlet-template using [npm](https://www.npmjs.com/) (we assume you have pre-installed [node.js](https://nodejs.org/)).

```bash
npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-liferay-portlet-template
```

## Generate your new project

First create a folder and go to this. In this folder execute:

```bash
yo liferay-portlet-template
```

The project name is the name of the parent folder.
