Junior Full Stack Engineer
Job Description:
At Level2, our mission is remission for people with type 2 diabetes. Level2 is an all-new, personalized digital care experience complete with coaching and clinical care, and informed by the latest in diabetes technology/wearables. With real-time information on how food, movement, stress, and sleep all impact glucose levels, Level2 helps people make small changes for big impact.
Level2 is looking for a Full Stack Developer to add to our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, in-depth web development and .NET core software development experiences. The individual will work in an agile environment to support short sprints and rapid delivery of releases.
Role and Responsibilities
- Development of single page applications (SPA).
- Integration of web pages with RESTful APIs.
- Writing reusable, testable, quality and efficient code (and tests).
- Participation in the full application lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
- Development of RESTful services.
- Active collaboration with cross-functional teams that incorporate Requirements, Design, Testing and Infrastructure Teams.
- Proactive participation in daily development activities.
- Estimation of detailed design and development efforts and adhering to development timelines specified in the roadmap.
- Utilization and promotion of engineering best practices and code quality standards.
Required Education and Experience
- Proficiency with Javascript (Current Ecmascript Standard)
- Extensive experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS, etc.)
- Experience with at least one modern Javascript framework (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.)
- Experience consuming and developing RESTful Web Services using .NET core or similar services.
- Proficiency and experience with Responsive Web Development
- Understanding of UX best practices.
- Strong adherence to coding standards.
- Working independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with DevOps (CI/CD)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum and Kanban.
- Undergraduate or equivalent experience.
Desired Education and Experience
- Health Care Industry & Content Management System
- Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools.
- Oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
- Analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.
- Works well as a team member in a fast-paced, continually changing and often time-sensitive environment.
