S3 Key Prefix organizes your uploaded files in the S3 bucket with a directory structure:

  • Without prefix: Files upload as vessels/self/navigation/position/2025-07-12.parquet
  • With prefix "marine-data": Files upload as marine-data/vessels/self/navigation/position/2025-07-12.parquet
  • With prefix "boat-123/": Files upload as boat-123/vessels/self/navigation/position/2025-07-12.parquet

This allows organizing multiple vessels or data sources in the same S3 bucket.
